abc 2 news' sherree johnson is live outside bayview burn center with the very latest. sheree, what are you hearing about now? >>reporter: well, we've been in contact with the fire department all morning long, and at last report the woman was reported to be in critical condition right here at johns hopkins bayview medical center. she was brought here after fire broke out at her home. take a look at this video that we shot earlier this morning. that fire started at about 1:00 this morning at 20 blake court in reisterstown. when crews arrived at that home, it was fully engulfed in flames on the first and second floors. they found a woman in her 60s on the second floor and she was brought here to bayview burn center with severe burns. we are told about 50% of her body is burned and she's reported to be in critical condition. it took about an hour for crews to put out this fire. it was actually under control about 2:20 this morning. 15 fire companies and about 15 firefighters actually helped to battle this fire and crews tell me that they heard smoke detectors going off in

now, certain women who have a lot of experience from the bayview came to me and explained to me one of the meetings that was mentioned by the director here under the auspices of the san francisco health department. now, i think the san francisco county transportation authority should have a detailed orientation on what really is happening in the bayview. and it's not as simple as you think when you talk about safe routes. our young people have to cross four or five [speaker not understood] going to school, another four or five [speaker not understood] getting back. and the san francisco county transportation authority purports to know everything. but in the last nine months we have bus routes, like the 44, that cannot even go to certain destinations. they just stop below the hill and our students and our youth [speaker not understood]. when people come to me, then i have to work with the community response network and i have to work with volunteers who escort our young people and our seniors. now, i would want those people who are having these meetings at the ymca to have these meeting

hunters point right where that sewage plant is, it is in bayview hunters point. it's not on golden gate and its wasn't on market street, that they can have meetings where i can attend if nobody else won't attend, i want to know what they're doing. we do have committees that deal with projects that are going on in my community. and i would like to see some changes made with that, not that all the meetings be held at 5 25 golden gate, but there is no parking. you know, i parked in the white in order for my daughter to go into your building at 5 25 golden gate. and i had my motor running. so, when the police came and he saw i have a blue plate, you know, i said, i'm just waiting for someone to return. and by me being under the wheel i did not get a ticket. so, it's very bad, you know, here even at city hall. it's a shame. it don't have anything to do with you. but the fact that all the parking is for staff and for the supervisors and nothing for the residents, you know, that vote, that have areas to park. and i think something -- i know you can't do anything about i
