they went to the bayview-hunters point college. they were paid through model cities to go through the training they completed their training they were close childcare centers. when i got a lot of the ladies and some gentlemen got their license. they want to the childcare centers and some started their own childcare in their own locations. what i'm saying is, why can't we duplicate what was done back then if you have tenants getting rates moving to the housing? some of those mothers who do not have jobs have them train the childcare centers that you are building. so they can employment. they can watch their kids and driving is. i don't have kids know more. mine are grown. i'm glad they're out of the way but for those who do have youngsters, the people in the community watching their kids it's a more safer environment. i feel and then you're hiring people from the community. so, in each one of these, mission bay, wherever you build it in the shipyard, alice griffin, how are people in the community train them so they can be able to ge

but friday night here at bayview the heart of the game was assistant football coach. coach vince is the new assistant football coach at bayview high school -- but don't tell him this is a job --- this is his passion. football has been a big part of my life for a long time. the 26 year old wisconsin native is a newly-wed... and he just became a father to 10 month old olsen.... then more good news, his wife told him the family is growing. we were excited to be moving into a whole new start of milwaukee and excited to maybe have 2 football players. the growing family bought their dream home -- right down the road from bayview highschool-- but hours after closing on the house -- devasting news. the coach was diagnosed with cancer. his first thought? im going to miss football pracce tomorrow and we'll see what happe from there what happens from there is still to be determined. the coach has finished phase one of chemotheraphy but he still treatment. i'll be back. its been so great to be around them even for just a little bit.which brings us back to friday night. the coach'

i'm a bayview residents, live here all my life. went through the city build job training program in 2013 to pursue a career in the construction industry. since then i work many different types of construction jobs including the san francisco [inaudible] where i was at that [inaudible] going through city build program has been good for me because i went through the training and took class to advance and every employer look at me differently. as i increased my knowledge, things opened up for me. as i educate myself i find more chance tooz advance. i'm not settling for anything. right now i'm a general labor and safety monitor. everyone i'm involved in say i see you as a safety person, you should pursue this. that is my encouragement. everyone gives me that advice and that motivates me. that is my encouragement. for future city build participants i tell you this, never stop thinking you can't advance in your career. never stop pursuing your career. there is something out there for everyone. thank you to [inaudible] construction. thank
