i grew up in the bayview district.from china i started at an early age i started at age of 10 my grandfather my biggest inspiration. and i have followed with my traditional art teacher in china:i host educational workshops at the museum and local library. and i also provide chinese writing in public middle school and that way i hold more people fall in love with the beautiful of our chinese calligraphy. it is a part of our heritage. and so we need to keep this culture alive. hand writing is necessary field that needs to be preserved generation toieneration. this art form is fading away. but since covid i have been very dedicated to this art and i hope that my passions and serving this art form. there are many stores and shopping centers and companies that are interested in chinese cal iing ravi. i feel motivated to my passion for chinese calligraphy in today's world. so people can always enjoy the beauty of chinese calligraphy, from time to time i have a choice to traditional chinese calligraphy to make it more interes

hi, i am also a bayview resident and also a part of bayview hill neighborhood association. so i also called in to share my first. thank you so much for your work. right. the second part of it is like, i totally supported two years ago. however looking at the results and the execution, i do not believe it is the right solution. i totally understand. like, yes, there are folks who need help, but we cannot keep throwing money in the toilet like this is a fiscally irresponsible project where you are not even using the money to bring a more sustainable permanent solution for these folks. it's clear from two years of execution on that this solution is not working. why are we renewing it for next two years? what is the what are we expecting to change here? are we going to keep doing this? so this is where my biggest concern is. like, if we have the results right in front of us, we should be looking at them and hold us accountable for them and think about what can we do better in future. the current results do not support extension of btc and again by no means we are saying do not

over the past couple years the visitation valley and bayview choirs had been coordinating and workingether to support one another. they have grown over the past year or so to the point where they are now two independent operating choirs in the south eastern side of the city. a couple new choirs, the newest is downtown senior center in the tenderloin and open house focusing on the lgbtq community which had had a rapid rise forming in the spring and so ready to go they had multiple performances during pride month last month. another quick thing i want to highlight is the budget document which is notable because it is shorter then many of the budget documents we have. i think what unique about this one is cmc is using all funding on essentially personnel and little indirect cost and no operating expenses. they are covering those operating expenses through leveraging other resources. a lot of that is inkind use of community spaces like community centers where they are not having to pay rent, but there are operational costs that they do cover. these are things such as musical equipment, sp
