communities experience the climate change a lot worse then other communities and growing up in the bayview excelsior and living near freeways and experiencing pollution and not able to bike in my neighborhood in fear of a car crash because of the narrow streets t is really horrible. we can't fix the issue in the weltier communities how do we help the under served communities that experience the brunt of it? i also think people are so resistant to change. especially with the slow streets program which we have been looking into as a committee on the youth commission. the housing recreation and transit committee. we (inaudible) benefited youth in the city specifically overall, but still the mayor and other elected officials are resistant to it and afraid of change because we are such a car dominated city and think it is important to be optimistic about the future and be realistic but also like slow streets are helpful. this can actually get to where we want to go in terms of the climate goals and people need to consider that. >> it is kind of like in a sense feel a chicken and egg problem bec
