but yeah, we are sitting here above linda mar beach and this is one of those beaches. when you get earthquake and a possible tsunami generated near us. we're watching for places like this. you have areas that are out crops. this is federal point out here. and so a lot of times when that will happen. those waves are coming from the north northwest and they can actually filter in here. and then when you get these little bays here, they tend to fund a lot of that energy. and so i was really concerned about this bay here today seeing that area and there's many places there. there's a very famous talk about down there. there's some very nice grocery stores in that area right next to the water's edge. and that makes it extremely dangerous. i did have a chance to talk to some police officers. they said they evacuate everybody that they could. they say they've done everything that they cam. the suggestion was is that some people decided to stay anyway. so but we always advise people nominees are so difficult to forecast. and i really hard to tell exactly where they are going t

beach hazards, though a beach hazard statement goes into effect tonight at 6 o'clock through tomorrow night at 6 o'clock for sneaker waves, rip currents and then the periods of rain and wind start on saturday. same day is a beginning officially of winter and we get some winter-like weather off and on for the entire first week of winter, which of course, is also the holiday week at the coastline. again, the beach hazard statement does show sneaker waves and rip currents are a possibility. futurecast shows the storms starting to approach us. the first couple don't actually get here. they dissipate fallen to fairly dry air as high pressure moves away, though, starting on friday, especially into saturday. that's our first dose of rain and snow in the sierra. and this could be more significant coming into sunday into especially monday and tuesday. we will see some wet weather. and so we could see some rain on christmas eve and christmas day. it's a little hard to sort out the exact timing, the exact amounts, but still get weather ready for some very wet weather. not so impressive. at first
