joining me now is brit beamer, the chairman and ceo of america's research group which assists retailersod morning, brit. >> good morning. >> morning. so let's talk about the price tag first. this $300 barrier. i mean, do retailers think they'll be able to sell such an expensive tennis shoe? >> well, not all retailers are excited but i will tell you, retailers are looking forward to it for one reason. that is when you've got a price point this high, you get a lot of people coming in the front door to check it out. they may not ends up buying this tennis shoe but may buy a tennis shoe that's $140, $150. nike wants to problem to the world again that they are the the superior brand, and they can command this kind of price point. it's kind of one upmanship for them but they want to draw traffic into stores to sell shoes and nike always wins when that happens. >> what makes these shoes is worth 300 bucks? >> nike says they are. i guess the real question is, i'm not sure whether lebron james has has much strength as nike because his name's on the shoe. what makes it unique, no one's ever done.
