that is beatrice manning we are talking about. get to the story and show you her picture. this is beatrice manning. a woman for 14 years ran a daycare center she called little giggles. little giggles she called it and ran it out of her home in oxon hill. caring for up to four or five young children at a time. we are told that she had a great reputation but that back on december 2, something happened with as you said 9-month-old savannah wright. the girl was dropped off at 7:00 a.m. at 11:00 a.m., miss manning alleged to call 911 saying the child was unresponsive. by 5:00 p.m. that night, doctors diagnosed severe brain damage and called detectives. she died two days later. this comes out of the blue to manning's neighbors and they are tonight standing by her. i don't have anything negative to say about her. brad: well, we heard that from more than one person. we tried to reach out to savannah wright's parents today. we have had no luck. when we come back at 5:00, you will hear the police version of events. a tough story. still trying to figure out what went on in that house
