first we had the beckwourth fire. kicking up all that smoke all of a sudden the dixie fire really exploded into the afternoon. those winds picking up late in the day to as you get that nice hot air over the deserts that starts to lift and then all of a sudden you get that nice seabreeze replacing in that bringing those winds in spots out there. but that's not the only one to our north up in oregon. you see that fire that's been burning there. and that's the largest fire in the u.s. right now and all that smoke making its way up toward idaho and heavy billowing smoke. some pyrocumulonimbus clouds developing out of that. you can kind of see that as you get some of those thunderstorms actually from all that heat in and around those fires. now, here's what's interesting though. the next couple of days. we've got low clouds and fog that's not a surprise as we get the weekend pretty similar. but the 2nd half of the weekend, all of a sudden we start to get some of the monsoonal moisture wrapping up in that ridge of high pres
