here with me now is becky pringle, the president of the national education association, representingers across this country. miss pringle, good to see you. thank you for being with us on the show. i'm trying to get a sense, and maybe you know this from all the teachers which you've spoken. what best practices look like in schools. we've got this patchwork quilt across the country of what schooling looks like. >> it's so good to be with you this morning, ali. as a science teach for over 30 years, teachers and educators want nothing more than for us to get control of this pandemic so we can go back to our schools safely and equitiably. but here we are. dr. fauci warned us that the infectious rates would begin to spike and they are. and what we have been talking about from the very beginning is that we have to follow those infection rates, and if they are high, we cannot bring our students and educators back to school safely. so we are working right now to ensure that our educators and schools and students have the resources they need to stay safe. >> what looks like success to you? hav
