and i know that in behavioral rti that's sort of out there, but for the schools that don't have it as we phase that in, i'd like to know what the plan is there. and that's the end of my question. but i do really appreciate all of the work that has been done and the progress that's been made and i do realize it's incredibly complicated and there's a lot of pieces to it and we're doing it with limited resources and i want to express my gratitude for your work and your commitment to this and the way you've done this has also just been impres sif and inspiring. thank you. >> thank you for those kind words. i'll start with the fourth question first. what's exciting about only having 18 schools left is we can do something we've always wanted to do is a preparation year. best practice and the rp and behavior praul [inaudible] we go out and outreach to the staff and explain to them what's coming and get them ready for the move so that's really exciting because they have a manageable number, we can use our bat teams to do that work as well. i wanted to start with that one. in terms of the firs

we now next year would have 85 schools in behavioral rti, which leaves only 18 to go the year after. so we're actually a year ahead of schedule in terms of entering folks into the training. so that's positive news and you'll here a little bit more about some of the aspects of the training for the safe and supportive resolution. the other thing that's really interesting is that civic center and high schools have stepped forward and said we can't wait for next year to step into behavioral our child. we need the support now. we're creating within next year's cohort, a high school cohort to bring them in a year early because we feel like they need they support right now. in fact, the work with civic center has already gun under the leadership. that work is already underway because there's a real urgent need there. we're very excited and also really working hard to be ready for the high school because it's a little bit different. and then the rest of the high schools will go the following year so that's good news. i think we're moving a little faster than originally anticipated. going int

into it, but not only that, i think we've put money into all those other things that support the behavioral rti, all those system supports, and you're doing actually in the very right way because you're also upping the nurses, the counselors, all those things that work as this -- that team, you know what i mean? and so we're filling out all the things we couldn't do before, so that's a really fabulous thing. however, i can't help but thing that we're invest in that even though i know there's fwraet need across the board. what alarms me a little here is -- and i don't kind of know how i feel about it so i'm going to be completely honest. i don't know about that assistant principal thing as a threshold [inaudible] 550. i mean, i think you teal find out this year whether it's the right number or not. it's just that we have so many schools that are smaller because they're not as popular and they can't attract the population, you know. and so -- but they're very needy, you know . but i see there is some balancing affect there too with more support and -- but an assistant principal role is different
