they do a lot of awareness raising but actual prevention is a science, a public health science of how to stop behavior before it gets worse. we recommended workforce studies to standup and actual fashion allies prevention workforce to commanders. these are people who are specialized in the science of prevention. also, recommendations to standup offices to research perpetration, what actually leads to perpetration. dod has been investing a lot in understanding victims and victims care. that work is absolutely essential. we need to keep doing that. but we also need to better understand what leads someone to be a perpetrator, so that we can prevent harm from ever happening. there is a big focus on digging in more on that. i want to focus in our loe 3, climate and culture. i was honored to be joined by two other veterans, bridget bell, a west point grad currently finishing up her doctorate in clinical psychology, also another west point grad who is working with army force com on gender integration issues as well. the approach to climate and culture was to take our combined command experience and look at w
