belichick is a notorious curmudgeon, buffett anything but.about those three men and you say they got on each other's nerves it wasn't just brady and belichick. it was the ceo, robert kraft, who had some, in your book, very peppery thing to say about his coach, belichick he kind of doesn't like the guy. >> well, belichick sometimes doesn't make himself out to be the most likable person. i think robert kraft's role in this is interesting. generally speaking he did a masterful job at it. he tried to keep the band together as long as it could you see these other dynasties, the dallas cowboys, the chicago bulls, even. they can't last as long as these guys did and he did it by always hearing the other one out and acting as a buffer but that doesn't mean that it didn't occasionally come with some managerial challenges at one point in 2018 he was at a business conference in aspen he was in the lobby of the hotel. he said you hang out here with the most brilliant minds and i have got to go to detroit to be with the biggest he having a hole in my life,

let's talk about belichick.his emotions on his sleeve. do you have any idea how he's feeling leading up to this matchup? >> i think bill belichick definitely wants to win tonight. it's been a tough several months for him. ever since tom brady and the bucs went on that great playoff run last january, february, belichick has taken a little bit of a beaten with his ego and his reputation. a lot of people see, maybe it really was all tom brady who won all those championships in new england. and a lot of people, like myself, are seeing, why couldn't you figure this out? why is tom brady doing this in tampa and not a new england? why couldn't you find a way to keep tom brady as a patriot for the rest of his career? so, i think belichick, kind of quite the doubters a little bit, really could use a win tonight. and it would be a nice feather in his cap. because patriots are definitely the underdogs tonight. the buccaneers are the number one offense in the league. tom brady's got the ball rolling right now. the patriots
