park officials say there was no reason to believe the ride malfunctioned and was to bellamy but they did shut it down as a precautionary measure. >> breaking news out of texas. early this morning police in dallas now think they have killed the man who shot up police headquarters and rammed a police cruiser last night. it started when the suspect fired on the headquarters for different locations and then he took off in an armored van and rammed the police cruiser on his way out. the officer did chase that van to a jackson in the box parking lot. they got into another shoot-out with the man. now they believe he has been shot by a sniper. they are still waiting for a bomb squad to clear the van before they approach it. the police chief said he thinks the suspect left a bag full of pipe bombs near headquarters as well. >> we're very lucky. i believe we're blessed that our officers survived this ordeal. there are bullet holes in squad cars where officers were sitting. there are bullet holes in the front lobby where our staff was sitting. >> no officers were hurt. police originally thought
