we're on marden avenue in belmore where nassau county police and pse&g are hard at work. it took down a large tree. it landed right on top of a power line. but that's not all it landed on. the tree landed right on top of a car as well with a woman who was driving the car sitting inside the car. the next thing she sees, flashing lights from live wires at which point all she could do was pray. >> the wires just were crazy. a live wire again, like right in front of my windshield and if that would have blew, that's what i'm still trying to get over. >> you're very lucky. >> i am. >> what do you say after something like this? how about lucky you're around mom. >> god was watching me today. >> there you go. check this out too here in westbury, more downed power lines. ridge drive, the wind took down those power lines, smoldering in the street which needed to be blocked off to traffic. we're live here in belmore where pseg crews working to fix it, get it back and running. a short while ago the traffic lights weren't working so we've seen some improvement but clearly the rain was
