currently 67 in rockville. 69 in fort belvoir. huntingtown coming in at 65 degrees.t are we seeing? we have a frontal boundary coming through the region right now. you can actually see it on the satellite picture, the clouds that continue to move across our region. we're seeing the clouds on the increase. we're also starting to see the cooler air move in across parts of the region. not our region just yet. back to the west, only 54 in pittsburgh. 50 in elkins. i think that will drop our numbers tomorrow by about ten degrees. this is what you'll be overnight tonight. once we clear out the clouds from the front, we'll drop down to about 48 in the city, about 40 in leesburg, upper 30s along the i-81 corridor. and down to the south and east about 47 at the patuxent river. tomorrow afternoon, we won't warm up all that much. 62 in washington. 59 in martinsburg and 53 in culpepper. temperatures running five to ten degrees below average. the good news here is, we will be seeing plenty of sunshine. and i think a great afternoon. for the nats as they take on the cards one more

metro area, 64 in gaithersburg, 67 down towards fort belvoir. say hello to my friends in warrenton. a cool 62, that little bit of chesapeake influence for you folks there, you're a little on the cooler side. notice the clearing skies. but also notice back to the west, this is a very big storm back to the west. it is bringing severe weather toward st. louis. a lot of wind damage out of this storm already with 60 and 70-mile-an-hour winds. a lot of trees down. this will go right through the metro st. louis area in the next hour or so. the whole system will shift to the east overnight tonight and into the day tomorrow. let's time it out for you. here we are tomorrow afternoon. around 12:15. nothing. don't worry about tomorrow. your lunch will be fine. getting home from work will most likely be okay. here we are around 6:15, a few scattered showers. the main area is still back towards the west of the you can see what i'm talking about right here. but it does move through right around, say, 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, right through the i-95 corridor. the potential is there for severe weather. we

because you're not going to get that chance too much more. 75 in gaithersburg, 78 in dulles, and fort belvoirmanassas at 69, the wind coming right off of the bay. we've been talking about sandy for the past couple of days now, and it looks like this is going to have a bigger impact on us as we make our way into the weekend. here it is. sandy's impact on saturday. this storm will still be well to our south. but starting to see the impact down to the carolinas, where they could be dealing with very strong winds and a lot of rain there. on sunday, the storm makes its way to the north. it's going to interact with a trough, with a frontal boundary, a cold front that will move on down from the north. that's going to help to grab sandy off of the coast, even though it's out to sea, and then try to move it back in. if it's able to move the system back in, and retrograde this hurricane, it could become a major coastal storm for us. that means big-time winds, big-time rains. as far as how much wind and rain, too early to tell right now. but it does look like this could have a major impact on our area o
