directed by ben falcone, husband in real life, you probably know him mostly as the air marshall frome directed the film. feature film directorial debut, the move at this self, you saw the scene, the problem is the funniest scene in the film. they give away a lot of the good jokes in the trailers. tammy having the worse day ever, loses her job, totals her car, find her husband cheating on her, so she goes on road trip with her grandmother, susan sarandon, and hilarity is supposed to ensue. the problem is the first half of the film is really slow and drags a little bit. nothing worrying worse than comedy that drags in the beginning. then once the middle section goes in, then gets funny and heartwarming. mel is, a i love her, thought she was great in bridesmaids, i didn't care for her identity thief, the heat has some funny moment, but his is definitely my favorite role of her since bridesmaids, but no where near or as funny as bridesmaid, also really predictable, cliche at times, i think it is a good saturday red box movie, don't ways your monday any theatres, don't waste the full tick
