ben loma, more than two and a half inches. where is the rain now? still coming down but not as much as what it was doing earlier this morning. we're notice lighter rainfall through scotts valley. boulder creek is starting to pick up a little bit through the santa cruz mountains. sunol we're getting good rain come through. it has not let up for the past several hours. san ramona cross 680 seeing good amount of rain falling there. and then same with pacifica. but a little break in san mateo where there's just a light drizzle. through daly city, it is picking up. same for hercules. richmond also dealing with strong downpours. these are about half an inch to three quarters of an inch of rain coming through. through the north bay, they have been dealing with strong rainfall rates over the past couple of hours. santa rosa getting a little bit of a break. and just a drizzle for glenn helen. sfo noticing there are delays because of flights and low cloud ceiling as we can see right here on that live camera shot. we will update you on what to expect for the a

let's look at some of these rain totals the big numbers anyway and the typically wet spots like ben lomas. weather and the rain is being delivered and it still being delivered. we are getting more showers, some breaks and then some rain. that's we talked about monday and it's how the week will go right to friday into saturday morning. on-again, off-again and it adds up it helps here and in the mountains it's significant. it really is. those snowfall accumulations over the course of the storm will be five feet and that's just the storm that will open everything. everything's coming our way. it's coming right to the west coast. everybody's getting rain all the way into santa barbara and southern california and into mexico for that matter. as you look at the rain you can see the heaviest showers are running up around yuba city and very strong storms, which is typical for this area. it's a north end of the valley and they get -- the storms get funneled up there if you know the how the central valley is shaped you can see the ins and the cascades in northern california into the sierra nevada

ben loma mountains had two and a half. this is what i'm talking about. this is the next piece of energy swinging in right there. as it does, it is lifting. so peninsula, this might be one of the south of sfo oakland concord versus north that will be dealing with more scattered shower activity. the next band of rain is moving on shore. we've had some this morning. not a lot but a little bit coming in on the coast. from reowe vista out to bethel island moving across the east bay and parts of solano county. highway 4 looks like it is about done or letting up there. there is still more. danville, san ramon, blackhawk, mount diablo back over to 580 and castro valley, san lorenzo and over towards south san francisco and even on the peninsula. san mateo, foster city, around milbrae and burlingame. the cold low continues to get kicked in. there is another system dropping in. as it is enhancing at the bottom, that is what will swing in. you can see it right there. farther south, better opportunity for a steadier rain versus the north today. all snow on the go in
