and the winds do have me concerned, especially if you live in the santa cruz mountain area, the ben lomond stretch, 50 plus-mile-per-hour wind potential. that could mean more downed tries. we know how highway 17 has been impacted in the past. the highlighted areas that you see here in the orange are the ones expected to see the gusty winds. by 11:30 tonight, the increase in cloud cover will be significant, noticeable, light shower activity overnight, so midnight through 7:30. you'll notice some heavier pockets at times, move through the north bay. and then a wintery mix as well. so what that means is we could see some lower elevation snow, once again, in our north bay peaks. it's looking like the model runs show the possibility because it is a colder system, and also rainfall totals so far seem to be the highest for the santa cruz area, also through the north bay as well. we'll get some pockets of breaks in between tomorrow once we get the heaviest rain in the morning and then it kicks up by about 11:00 p.m. on the news hour, about 10:00 or 11:00, through san rafael. and then scattered sho
