along rhode island avenue in mount rainier just over the prince george's county line. a d.c. officer later spotted the stolen blue ford on benning road and tried to stop it. but the ford sped off, ultimately running a red light at this corner where it t-boned the gray acura. they had to remove the roof and the doors of the victim's car that had four people inside. two taken to the hospital with critical injuries. the d.c. police did manage to catch the two suspects who tried to walk away from the crash scene. >> there was a vehicle stolen from maryland that the d.c. officers spotted. the d.c. officers didn't pursue t were being pursued so they were driving at a high rate of speed. they had a crash at the intersection. kevin: the gentleman in the green shirt and hat owns this tan mercedes car which was also caught up in the crash. it was parked on the street. you can see it's got damage to the front of the vehicle. the carjacking suspects are both charged with leaving the scene of an accident and another charge that is related to stealing the car in the first place. live in southeast, i'm kevin lewis. abc7 news. nancy: all right.
