ben tracy is live from the scene and it looks like the wind is a little calmer, but you get up on thoseis even more strong . >> reporter: for hours the wind has been a pummeling through here and you can see the chart hillsides are part of the 14,000 acres that burned in this fire. firefighters have done an amazing job. cal fire telling us that the fire is 75% contained. when you get to that level of containment, they really do have control of it. we saw some firefighters on the road an hour ago and asked where they were heading to and they said they are going back to camp. they feel that it is in a good place but with the wind, you never know. it only takes one spark. >> and that first fire out of the gate is what prompts all of us to be aware and we know that the underbrush, no matter where you live, because of the wet winter we have a lot of fuel for the fires and it gets drier every day. >> reporter: that is so true. two wet winters in a row and there has been a lot of vegetation growth in california. as the summer progresses and it gets hotter in these things dry out, you really can
