she lives in benedict canyon. it should say beverly hills for this particular picture. it's from the west coming east. specifically where are you. we are in bel air and right now firefighters had been struggling to get control of these flames. some flames are flickering through that spot right there. and still they are not able to get it to extinguish completely. they are having trouble finding the source of the fire. yes it does. we are stretched thin. we continue to respond to all 911 calls we are not taking as many resources to those. it will be the wind. the reason my these santa ana winds are so dangerous is because it's unpredictable and you can't tell where the embers from flames like these are going to travel and they can travel up to 2 miles and you expand that out to a radius. there is no telling what home is at risk next. i was talking to a fire captain yesterday who said their game plan is to try to protect the houses surrounding the one that's already on fire but you can see they were not able to save this one either and most of these flames now completely
