if you look at the benghazi select committee when it started all of the questions about benghazi hadered. that apparently is not true. we learned through this investigation, this investigation only, none of the other investigations turned up the fact that hillary clinton was using her personal email. didn't even have a state department email. what this does, i think, as it relates to benghazi, is it further weakens her primary defense which was the arb report done by the state department. we now know that the state department didn't interview her. apparently didn't have access to any of of her emails. that the co-chairman of the arb report was providing draft report to hillary clinton's chief of staff and was coaching witnesses before they went before congress. that's her best defense. it crumbles under even the slidest scrutiny. i think we are going to get a lot more scrutiny. >> this will not be the end of this story. many democrats are weighing. in kudos for the "new york times" for doing the story. that's it for the panel. stay tuned to see a local news report that went down hill

committees, they're not ready to let benghazi go. >> but joy, look, benghazi was mitt romney's closingt in the third debate, so you can understand why they want to go back to this. this is a winner for them. all jokes aside, jeremy, this was a big story by your paper in "the new york times." your paper has stood by it and said this is an important issue. >> uh-huh. well, i mean, it is a problem for what it evokes. it evokes all of the clintons being too cute, it depends on what the definition of "is" is. joy is right, it's very early in the campaign cycle. people aren't paying full attention. but i think that the way the clintons continue to respond to the questions that are going to keep coming up of this nature are going to be key in how she positions herself to the electorate and whether or not people say she reminds me of everything i didn't like about the '90s. >> i think, you know, the benghazi thing has been, in a way, a gift that keeps on giving. they did push and push and it got them nowhere and it didn't matter at all. i think the e-mails gives new life to the benghazi thing.
