taking benicia of as an alternate.rface streets have been delayed for the last 1.5-2 hours since the chp closed down that lane. there is one lane open but able to accommodate the traffic that is already been backed up eastbound. already the signature drive to the bay bridge is extremely slow. this backup towards the macarther maze on the interstate 580. it is slow before the 580. although highway 24 is not quite that bad interstate - 80 is. the drive times are over 20 minutes near the macarther maze getting towards the upper deck. however there was a vehicle stalled in the last 30 minutes that was on the inclined section. but it has been cleared. we are still feeling the impact. and james. >>george: how does the traffic weather look? -- >>james: we are looking for much nicer conditions with spring- summer like! with 70's. it is, however foggy with temperatures will be the case. with that futurecast at 9:00 a.m. showing 50s to begin the day. by 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. for at least 30 minutes. and by 1:00 p.m., widespread '

they also issued one for the carquinez bridge and the benicia bridge.nd we have had one in effect for the bay bridge since overnight. they issued this one early this morning. you can see it pretty thick this morning as you head towards the pay gates. there's also a pretty good sized delay. so it looks like drivers may be slowing down quite a bit. earlier we could really see it on the san francisco side of the span. so anyway, it's already backed up for a good 20-minute wait backed up into the maze and the metering lights are on. these fog advisories are different than the one issued from the national weather service. these are chp issued fog advisories. this is an accident we have been following, southbound 880 by highway 92. apparently it's still there blocking possibly a lane, maybe in the center divide. we're not seeing any slowing on our sensors though across the stretch. usually it does start to get busy anyway across that area. folks heading towards the san mateo bridge. but so far in the green and also in the green top speeds this morning all acr

east bay temperatures into the 70s in most spots except 69 in san ramon, 68 benicia and 68 vallejo. temperatures inside the bay, more of a sea breeze inside the bay and at the coast. only 50s at the north coast toward the afternoon hours. next couple of days, we are looking at a cooldown in the works on saturday and sunday. those temperatures really taking a hit around the bay area. it looks like clouds gathering partly cloudy skies into monday and tuesday. chance of showers on wednesday. that's a look at weather. here's elizabeth with traffic. >> thanks, lawrence. let go out towards the dublin interchange. westbound 580 not too bad across this stretch the you can see it's definitely getting busier but as far as major incidents go, we are not dealing with any. so we can definitely call it "friday light" once again. we had that one accident in the south bay southbound 101 by hellyer that's now gone. so overall nothing showing anything blocking lanes on any major freeways this morning. so here's a live look at the drive time. 17 minutes still in the green. we are seeing a few changing

so from walnut creek to benicia, fine. the macarthur maze westbound 24 coming out of walnut creek heading through orinda looking like top speeds. and it looks like they probably picked up this roadwork a little bit ahead of schedule. eastbound 80 between highway 4 and willow avenue, they were doing some roadwork. we were seeing a lot of slowing on our sensors because they had three lanes blocked off for this overnight roadwork scheduled until 6 a.m. but i believe they picked up at least a couple of those lanes because our sensors are turning back to green. we just checked in with bart and everything is on time for all bart lines including all those commuters heading into the financial district in downtown san francisco. that's traffic and weather. back to you. >> thank you. >>> here's the story i was talking about for lawrence. we have a big-time snowstorm starting to hit colorado this morning. a lot of schools are being closed for the day much to the delight of kids. forecasters say that the storm could dump up to 2 feet

advisories rather issued by chp for a couple of bridges including right here across the span of the beniciaagain, watch out for as well as ohler one -- they issued this one overnight at the bay bridge. there was a high wind advisory in effect. caltrans has warning signs up. it's difficult to tell how far it's backed up because our camera is framed a little oddly but you can see in the background there, there are some cars and look like slight delays maybe in a couple of those cash lanes. towards the south bay, north- and southbound 280 traffic heading in and out of downtown san jose so far looks okay. in the clear. this is alive look at 280 out of downtown. so no issues there. and 101 and the guadalupe parkway not seeing many brake lights. we are starting to see brake lights changing color on the sensors the altamont pass ride so westbound 580 up to 17 minutes so slow out of the altamont pass. and then speeds improve out closer towards livermore and the dublin interchange. drive times for the east bay you can see we're still free and clear coming down the eastshore freeway. 880 is fine. and
