a traffic alert has just been issued over at the benicia bridge.wo lanes shut down due to some metal grating that was coming up from the roadway possibly something from the bridge there. so you can see emergency crews are on the scene. no significant delays yet but this is as you transition towards 780 there, northbound 680, the two left lanes shut down right now. you can see emergency crews are on the scene. we'll continue to monitor that. in the meantime, give yourself some extra time heading through that stretch. over at the richmond/san rafael bridge, whoa! we are in the red and our travel times just under one hour, that's because we have an accident involving a couple of vehicles, possibly four or five vehicles. and it looks like it's blocking a lane. you can see some emergency crews trying to get through that area to the scene of the crash. so give yourself some extra time if you can avoid the richmond/san rafael bridge i would do so it could be out there and the residual delays will probably stick around for some time. we are in the red. hat
