this is blue berg. -- bloomberg. david: you are watching balance of power.ea first taste democratic presidential debate last night when 10 candidates took to the state of miami. we get the second 10 tonight. as mayor of philadelphia, governor of pennsylvania, and as chair of the democratic national committee during the 2016 election, we welcome him coming to bloomberg. give us your sense as a former chair on what happened last night. did it accomplish for the democratic party what you would have hoped? >> i thought it was a terrific discussion on the issues. there were differences between the candidates, not huge differences, but there were some key differences. i thought elizabeth warren, if you look at this as two lanes, the progressive lane -- there will be one progressive standing at the end, and the more moderate lane, there will be a moderate leftist center person at the end. elizabeth warren, of all of the progressives in the debate last well, spoke with passion, spoke with intelligence. she had definitive plans out there. some of which will cause her
