representative berger was a champion of this. i remember a great bill signing where she finally succeeded in getting some tougher penalties in wyoming for animal abuse, and my puppies and my son came to the the bill signing. i think it's time to look at that law again to see where we are. we are lagging behind other states. and, you know, concern always is that it would be a threat to our agriculture community. ranchers do not practice animal cruelty. we're talking about something completely different when we're looking at domestic animals that are not fed, that a they're not cared for, that they're beaten, that they're pushed into fighting. you know, that's a different thing, and i would certainly want to work with the agricultural community to craft a bill that they're comfortable with but one that also improves our animal abuse penalties in wyoming. >> you want the take that, mark? >> well, sure. on our ranch -- and this is a very high priority for my wife jenny and for our kids -- we are low-stress animal handlers.
