police in berkeley are the latest to give out a warning. they say that thieves are trying to steal players' phones. kpix 5 reporter sandra osborne is live in berkeley with more. >> reporter: good morning. this warning sparked by three recent robberies in town. those playing "pokemon go," two of those robberies close to the uc-berkeley campus and some actually well orchestrated. some of the victims have been giving police information. one man saying a guy jumped out of a waiting car, punching him, stealing his phone and wallet before running back to a getaway car. another victim, a woman, was playing the game when she was being followed. two men knocked her to the ground, stealing her phone and her purse. now, police say there are a couple of things that players are doing that they should be aware of. one of the things players are going into neighborhoods they are not familiar with. so instead they are saying go to places you know. don't just stair at your phone. be aware of your surroundings. keep the phone in your pocket instead of walking
