already they have made their way into the lehigh valley and berks county and headed towards chester county we'll see a chance of rain for tomorrow. this is a fairly intense line of storms that started yesterday. it did bring tornadoes to parts of ohio. we have winds out of the southeast. we'll see more sunshine than clouds. temperatures will be in the low to mid-70s. that continues right on through saturday and sunday. the big story is hurricane irma. this is a record setter. it's the most intense and powerful hurricane on record from the national hurricane center in the atlantic basin. not the gulf of mexico but the entire atlantic basin. it is going to be moving past st. martin and the virgin islands. see how big the eye is. it is a scary thing that this is going to be moving past them over them. you're basically going to be looking at the effects being within 70 miles of that eye. that's going to affect everybody. it makes a hard turn at some point on sunday. could get further into the gulf. could do it over the tip of florida. could do up the east coast. they are watching all closely.

if you live in berks county you really do want to be careful. the flooding is happening. do not drive through flooded roads. a severe thunderstorm warning has been extended until 6:30 for parts of northampton county, lehigh county, bucks county and montgomery county and this is a strongest part of this line of storms. and this has not only some very heavy rain frequent lightning also the potential for the gusty winds and hail. it's moving towards the east-northeast at about 35 miles per hour. it's crossing the northeast extension right now, 309, hagerstown, dublin, bedminster riegelsville and harrow all in the path of this storm its a squall line ahead of a cold front. we've had plenty of fuel for the storms. the heat index philadelphia feels like 87. we hit a high of 88. felt like summer today. once the storms roll through you can see it really cools down the air. temperatures dropping down into the 60's. so satellite and radar showing again that severe thunderstorm watch for philadelphia, northwest until 9 o'clock tonight. this whole line sliding to east and as it does,
