berkshires, a strong chance. chances increase and i believe some of the mountains of western maine are going to get clocked by a big snow out of this. it's very, very ss hears a close look. you can see now that the snow is falling in parts of michigan. you can see saginaw in the snow area. chilly high pressure for tonight and tomorrow might even see some limited is up in the morning. partial sunshine because there will be an east wind clouds coming off the ocean and clouds from the west with this developing system. then you see that band of snow for western massachusetts. then that shifts to the north. we get into the rain area. it looks like a pretty may back into cape ann and south shore a couple of sprinkles overnight and into early tomorrow. inland areas could see limited sun briefly tomorrow and then the clouds thicken up. here's your band of snow. notice there is rain ahead of it but notice the snow never gets anywhere near boston because without elevation it will be pretty tough with that easterly wind war

this is the berkshires. the snow and mixed precipitation into vermont and new hampshire. heavy rain through lowell. look howth coming down around the woburn area. we'll focus down there. this is 128 that rs all this around getting into heavy rain. south-westward takes to you medfield over to bellingham and milford midway and some of this is heavy, too. yellow and orange. out to cape cod, east town, over through dennis where it's coming into west harwich. then off to the south and west we'll go. first we're gonna stop there and talk about how much rain we've had so far. these are the colors showing where the heaviest rain has popped up, just kind of a weird shape, but it's there. up to the north of boston, billerica about an inch of rain. off to the west in marlborough, an inch of rain. southwest 1.2-inches, in ux bridge, and look at this, as we've seen heavy rain out in cape cod, province half inch of rain. and every little bit helps for this drought situation. at least not the flooding that we saw a week ago. this heavy rain still pushing northward. those lightning strik

also my the father west like baby from the worcester heels especially to the berkshires, cold enough early on to produce a band of snow. that is what is being depicted as we get into early to mid afternoon thursday. that is snow out in the berkshires and the snow will continue therefore couple of mountains, the white mountains pick up a few inches of snow. when the still -- storm intensifies, we will be getting heavy rain and they are going to be getting snow and it will snow hard for a good chunk of time. i expect depreciable snowfall in the mountains of maine. we want to give you an idea of how this may map out. you can see snow for the berkshires, the could get a couple of inches on the grassy surfaces and the mountains of vermont. look at that enhancement of the snow in the mountains of maine and northern new hampshire where there could be a good six to 12 inch band. sizable snow. you want to do some skiing we up north, head up to maine, you will have some of their in this ski areas of northern and western maine. let's check it out over the next 70's, your story is a cold start,

so for the snowfall, there could be an inch or two in the berkshires. the real jackpot for snow, though, in the mountains especially the mountains of maine. to 12-inch dumping. we should get an inch or more of rain out of the whole deal. all right. here is a look at the next seven days for you. one other thing i want to point out, the winds will pick up along the coast later tomorrow and tomorrow night and on friday with the strongest winds on the cape. a little bit milder on saturday. could have a shower late day or night. sunday is tricky. i see cold front could come through. massachusetts has many great public schools, and we took it for granted but some kids aren't so lucky. where they live, they don't go to a great school, and they have no choice. imagine if your kids were trapped in a failing school. public charter schools give parents a choice and are a pathway to success for these kids. if you like your school, question 2 won't affect you. but question 2 will change the future for thousands of kids who need your help. please join me and vote yes
