mike berman is on the ground in appleton. blake, who is in the lead? >> there is a new poll out tonight. from marquette law that shows a potential shift in wisconsin. ted cruz with support from 40% of republicans here in the badger state according to that poll. donald trump 10 point in back of that at 30, john kasich down at 21. that's a rather large shift from the end of last month. a 21-point bounce for ted cruz. he was at 19. donald trump was up 11 in that poll and now according to that poll he's down 10. trump finished up an event here. he didn't mention it by name but said he thinks they will overperform the polls. he went directly after ted cruz, after that poll was released. but trump has been doing that in the last couple days as well. here is trump going after cruz. >> he doesn't have the temperament to be president. he doesn't have the talent to be president. he would be one hell of a lousy, one hell of allowsy president. that i can tell you. there will be turmoil all over the place. reporter: before trump got here he was at an event in the g

strongly defending his campaign manager who has been charged with battery of a female reporter, blake berman has the details for us in wisconsin. >> donald trump's campaign sidetracked in wisconsin as his campaign manager ran into legal trouble in florida. corey lewandowski charged for simple battery, a misdemeanor in the state of florida. police say corey lewandowski grabbed michelle fields as trump was exiting an election night news conference. in a statement trump's campaign said they feel corey lewandowski will be exonerated. at a town hill tuesday trump maintains he is standing by his campaign manager. >> i am not going to destroy a man. something like this with my arm up and he goes by, maybe he touched her a little bit but it was almost like he was trying to keep her off me. >> ted cruz and john kasich campaigning in wisconsin, said in a similar situation they would have either fired or suspended corey lewandowski. >> a very said development and this is a consequence of the abusive culture of the trump campaign. >> i won't talk about what i would do. we probably would suspend somebody
