in parts contra costa county, especially as you make your way to antioch a brentwood discovery bay bethel island and of course lama county going to be one of the hot spots around the bay area over the week ahead as we're going to see those temperatures soaring again and then you see kind of breaking things up i think we see heat advisories again in some areas like petaluma as you make your way in rohnert park as those temperatures going to soar we may back off just a little bit tomorrow but not by much so you see the pockets of the heat and those hot temperatures going to continue not only now for the foreseeable future. outside right now we've got mostly clear skies something to watch out for is not only do we have those hot temperatures. we also have the humidity and really when you get that your body can't upper spire and allow you to cool off so all of a sudden you get those hot temperatures get the humidity. boy it feels very very uncomfortable outside tomorrow we'll see temperatures soar again triple digits in some of the valleys as high as a 104 in little more maybe a 105 in antioc

one of the things that flo loved during the last few years was she loved going to bethel church three days a month and monthly pot lucks, and friends would say that she and mel were like two peas in a pod, always together. she enjoyed cruising around the bay area, listening to rock and roll, doo-wop, and oldies. they enjoyed road trips to disneyland, las vegas, and universal studios. she and mel's favorite vacation spot was hawaii. on -- and on this past july 22, florence aguera, wife of mel and mother of chris, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 70. she's survived by her husband, son, sister, and many nieces and nephews. she was preceded in death by her parents, and she leaves behind many dear friends. she brought the community together, and we will extremely miss her, and we will be here for mel to support him during this transition time. the last thing i want to say is, colleagues, during my time on the board, i have never been late to a single meeting more than a few minutes. today, i just want to put on the record that there are many parents in the bay area that are strugglin
