we had been 7-inches in roxboro, five and a half in bethel hill and raleigh. and 1.5 inches of snow and sleet. but the ice was the bigger deal. in sanford, four tenth of an inch of ice. and that is enough to cause trees and power lines to come down. a quarter of an inch in carrboro. a messy station and we're still dealing with the situations situations here. so we're looking at dusting up too inch possible. and we're seeing some snow showers falling in credemore and henderson and warrenton and in the triangle, light snow and possibility. and we'll see the snow showers wrapping up. and we may have an additional dusting of snow possible in some spots. in cumberland county, they're dealing with ice. we had upwards of a quarter of an inch of ice. and that will make things a little messy this morning. 23 the current temperature in raleigh and 25 in durham and 27 in fayetteville. and the winds gusting to 20 miles an hour in henderson and south hill and 16 miles an hour in durham so we got a windchill. and it is make things feel cold out there. it feels like 18 degre

as usual, bethel hill. you guys getting most of it. three and county. orange county, two inches. an inch and a half again of sleet and snow in carrie, and pine hurst a little over an inch. that is some of the reports we have. a couple of things we are watching as we led into tonight. temperatures many are still at or below frozing. these numbers staying below freeze willing do two things. they will keep the roads slushy and/or frozen and they will keep the precipitation coming out of the sky frozen or snowy. behind me are current winds. this is a problem we are going to see continue if not increase into tonight. and there is already plenty of ice on threes -- trees and powerlines. gusts up to 32 miles per hour. that is going to continue to work on those branches and powerlines. at some point, many of them could snap. christine gave us this picture from here in raleigh. just look at the ice hanging from the powerline and the trees. everything starts to sag, and at some point, point and unfortunately they could break on to powerlines knocking power out. trees falling on cars, house

that's in bethel hill and roxboro. in warren county, you got three inches. orange county, evelyn, two inches there. carrie, an inch and a half. not huge snow totals. there's been sleet mixing in. pile up. sleet is not. it's very compact. that's why some totals have been lower. because we have more sleet. cold. triangle. 31 in raleigh. above freezing south of the triangle. which is why it was rain showing up. but one of my concerns tonight, not only as the frozen and your tree, your power line in your backyard might have a little bit of ice on it. and it might be able to hold. but as these winds continue to go to work on that tree or power line, and even pick up, that's when they could come down. and plus, if you have to walk outside for anything, look at our windchills, 11 degrees in roxboro and sylar city. it's not going to warm up much in the next several hours. temperatures will hold. including those and windchills. the frozen precipitation will stay frozen. but then as we get passed midnight, a lull again in the precipitation. but winds turn back out of
