for perspective on what the changes men, we speak to beto o'rourke who is considering a run for governor in texas for 2022. congressman, i know there are amendments and other steps to go through here but just generally speaking, what's the significance of this step today, where is texas headed? >> at about 3:00 a.m. this morning the texas house passed sb 7, which is an extensive voter suppression bill that would make it harder to vote in a state that's the toughest to vote in in the united states. it still has to be conferenced with a senate version of the bill but it can be as early as the next two weeks that you have final passage and it on governor greg abbott's desk for signature and then you have a state that is 43rd in the nation in voter turnout, the toughest to vote in, a place that will be even harder especially for young people, african-americans, the disabled and the very old and those who live in big cities in texas. those are the populations targeted by this voter suppression bill. >> you know, we see obviously in congress the effect that trump's big lie is having and now we
