well, keep this in mind, in 2016 president trump beat hillary clinton 52-43 but you remember 2018 beto o'rourke might not lose the white house again. brian: the bigger question, so conservatives say there's no place for me here, i can't get my voice heard, in new york you have people going to florida, they wonder who are the people who are leaving, i heard in texas, they always say we lost, republicans say we lost austin, we haven't lost the state, what do you hear? >> yeah, that's the way it is, you know, the big cities all over the country except for san diego are all democrat, they want us all in cities so they control it, they want to get rid of electorate college so cities can vote them in. texas is a different story, a lot of republicans go there, it's still a mix bag but they are pouring money, the democrats are into the state and republicans need to keep an eye on this, the democrats are better at the business of elections than republicans, republicans talk policy, democrats talk policy and voter registration, so texas will be in play over the next 15 to 2 years and if the democrats tak

potentially beto o'rourke i think probably still has things to do. whether he alienated some people or not is maybe a question and so with regard -- even with the people who are not in the race, you have a lot of people who could be chosen for cabinet positions, vice presidency for example. one thing to factor in with the senators in the race if you have a sitting senator who will be tapped for a cabinet position or vice president, what are the rules within that state for the appointment process? the senate's in contention. the republicans have more seats to defend than the democrats do this time around, unlike the previous time. there will be factor in those calculations. >> any other names come up? >> the obvious ones are pete buttigieg, kamala harris will be you know back. my prediction will be, there will be a woman or a person of color or maybe both on the democratic ticket in one place or another. >> i'll put cory booker as someone that we'll see more of and i think is a great vp pick as well. i have been impressed by him. i think he could be a
