i am pleased that his son bill and wife betsy have joined us this morning. i had a delightful visit with them last night. they are an outstanding family. i missed by one year sitting in the u.s. senate with senator goodell. and coated -- coincidentally, i just missed practicing in the law firm with bill goodell, so i am delighted to get to know that family. senatorial speeches in new york have are rich, but sometimes dubious history.
