betsy, the stage is yours. ms. devosk you alt for enjoying and appreciating that testimony from awesome people, many of whom have become my personal friends. mike, thanks for being here. i really appreciate it. interested in talking to you about the topics. you are a west point grad who served in the military for five years. small business owner. served in congress. head of the cia. took our nations top diplomacy job as secretary of state. you have a unique perspective on how students are prepared to take on college, to enter the workforce, or to serve their country in various ways. very easy first question. why do you think school freedom or school choice is important? mr. pompeo: we all should work on tuesdays. [laughter] mr. pompeo: what a lovely young, gracious man filled with love. that was glorious, betsy. we know so often that there are families who look at where they are sent to school and they are not satisfactory. they want something that is unique and special for their kids. whether it is special ed students o

if the alternative is a public schools director like betsy devos or judges like alito who just affirmede his models for governance, then we're in trouble. so i think that's why you see democrats being very, very concerned. of course, this texas law really woke up a lot of activists and a lot of women who, like me, didn't find out that we were pregnant until we were past the six week mark. i mean i passed out in a yoga class and i went to the doctor a week later, i was 6 1/2 weeks pregnant with my daughter bella. now, it was a wonderful experience for me but i wouldn't even have a choice to have a choice if that were happening right now in texas. i prosecuted rape, i prosecuted incest pregnancies which is rape by a trusted family member. these are brutal situations. if you have to say no matter what you are having that child, it is a terrible fate to put on a woman and the relationship she would have with her child. it is really important we remember the individuals and that we do work as hard as we can. what can we do in california? we can get out the "no" vote on the recall. what can w
