betty is a tireless advocate for bo decker and for boeddeker park and organized efforts for clean up days for the community members and brought diverse members together for arts and music in an neighborhood that has the highest concentration of children in the city. betty was recently selected as a finalist for the cox rks heroes award and will receive a $2,500 grant and giving right back to boeddeker park. it's from the parent company of cox enterprises and honors heroes along us that enhance and benefit the outside places. we will celebrate with betty the trust for the land and other officials for grand breaking a project at boeddeker park and transform the play ground and park for youth, seniors and other users that live in the tenderloin. betty it's an absolute pleasure to know you and i think you were one of the first people i met on the job four years ago and i want to thank you for your work and it's advocates that truly do a difference in the city and i would like to congratulate you and mr. president if you could join me with the certificate of appreciation. congratulations.

i was looking over at the betty republican radiation center.ook liberty of going out there, looking around, seeing location. i talked to a facilitator there. they seem to have a little problem with the setup, where they are going to be going into program developments from the new $40 million from the park bond of trying to be monitored location. i believe it was already approved, that they will be able to have some type of surveillance but there was an additional complication. young kids with their laptops and their ipads need to have better source of of wi-fi. if they get half dozen trying to do homework, it overloads the umbrella. i don't know what type of costs, whether it comes from programs or development. i would expect mr. ginsburg and his staff to rectify. but the little kids, they will be doing a lot of their after-school programs and stuff. they do need some of that type of -- how should i say it. high-tech communication devices present. probably be costly. another problem is if they are ever going to deal with announcements, they wil

betty, of course it's not, but i'm sure you know your poor mom was only one of thousands, maybe millions dealing with those crazy long lines and hours and hours of waiting and i have a couple take-aways from the situation. first of all, major league kudos to your mom and every other american who put up with that to cast your vote, but secondly, you shouldn't have had to. americans spend $2.4 billion a year on halloween candy. surely we can come up with some cash to buy ourselves a better system to vote online, by mail, something. and then there was this from our good friend karen in alexandria. given the closeness of the popular vote and the content of romney's concession speech, why doesn't obama put him to work as he did with hillary clinton after defeating her in the democratic primary and in the spirit of conciliation and as a step in healing the country give mitt a position in his second administration? you know what? i really like that idea. how about romney in charge of tax reform? give him some parameters and i'm telling you it is not so crazy as it may sound to some of our frien

(knocking) hi! how are you? oh my gosh you look beautiful! thank you! i can't even believe you, you look amazing. there's this little waist here. it's a work in process. she's done really good. i mean its challenging still, its always going to be too. the kids are wearing smaller sizes of clothes, they're more active and they make better choices on their own. the kids are not really on a diet just changing the way that they eat. how proud of your mom are you? pretty proud. she's happier now, she does like more things with us. its pretty good. we've got a weight in, its been great for the kids to get into something, other than regular activities to do exercise and they don't even knew they're doing it. i'm so proud of you guys to hear how well you're doing and as a family you're getting closer and helping out. so i have a little
