i'm betty nguyen. we begin this morning with what nearly everyone agrees is the top issue this election year, jobs. the government issues its monthly unemployment report today. yesterday the labor department said the number of jobless americans seeking benefits last week fell by 6,000 to a low of -- a four-year low, in fact. experts don't expect today's report to show an improvement in the national employment rate. we have more now from washington. good morning. >> reporter: good morning, betty. the rate of job growth has to be higher than the rate at which new job seekers enter the market to significantly impact unemployment rate. the president's goal is two-fold. not only does he want to help businesses expand and hire but he also wants to make it easier for entrepreneurs to start new enterprises. economists say this morning's report will show employers added more than 200,000 jobs for the fourth month in a row. analysts say the march data is expected to be strong but won't be enough to lower the une
