i would like to refer to bianca. i know she worked with united players. to talk about a successful working with the program at a community based organization and other folks on speak to the barriers and strengths. >> i have been with up for a year and they provide amount. it's a violence prevention organization. they take you on field trips to fight for the power. the stop the violence. what i really liked about it. not only did it help you to fight for power. but provided you with jobs. i know it helped a lot of kids and they come in and a lot of schools. they come in and we have meetings. we talk about many stuff. but i think, once a youth has an organization helping them out. when they are aware of all the stuff, it's really up to you. the youth is aware. the up awared me of a lot of stuff. it's up to me if i want to stop the violence. if your community, in your hood for your people. >> principle dierck. >> i would like to say, one of the barriers we need to work on is, we write a lot of grants at my school. we have 26 partners. so that means most of t

western australia looking at tropical cyclone bianca. it's now a severe tropical cyclone and still on a strengthening path. expected to reach its peak strength about friday morning. so we've still got another day to go with that strong system. it's currently a category 3 storm system packing wind gusts of well over 165 kilometers per hour. it's likely going to remain offshore, at least the center of the storm system, but still some gusts could be affecting the coastline. do watch out for that. of course, there's that rain, too, as well as coastal flooding storm surges that you will need to watch out for here. over towards north america, a lot of the activity remains along the east coast. we've got this developing system that will ride up along the atlantic seaboard today, spreading rain and snow. inland areas across the mid-atlantic states, new england region will be looking at snow. another storm system comes in off the great lakes. lake effect snows will pile up for you. minus 2 in chicago. minus 1 in toronto. subfreezing temperatures

we got this system, this will be severe tropical cyclone bianca packing winds of over 150 kilometers per hour while gusts are hitting 220 kilometers per hour. it's a powerful storm system but does remain offshore. looks like the gale force winds will remain away from land. that is good news. warning are no longer issued for the area. however, there's still the chance of some strong winds developing as well as at times being a little bit higher than normal. looks like the system is now going to weaken and hopefully become a low as we head into the weekend. however, still a couple of showers will impact those of you along the coastline so do watch out if you are going to be in the area. as for north america today largely settled for the united states. finally looking a little bit calmer today even in the northeast. all that snow is finally pulling away. just edges of new england and canadian maritime is looking at that remnant snow to impact you tonight. however the great lakes area will see a new system drop in from central canada. also western central sections of canada looking at sn
