courtroom bickering that is infuriating the already fed up judge. >> both sides are expected to be ons morning after getting quite a scolding. t.j. winick joins us with the latest. good morning, t.j. >> reporter: good morning, peggy and daniel. friday we saw fights outside of court. monday we saw more heated exchanges at the casey anthony murder trial. casey anthony trial judge belvin perry warned the prosecution and defense their behavior could cause a mistrial, even threatening to exclude key witnesses. >> exclusion. even at the price of having to do it all over again. exclusion may be the proper remedy if it continues. >> reporter: perry threatened to hold defense attorney jose baez in contempt of court. it all began on saturday when prosecutors complained baez planned to question witnesses on topics not included in pretrial reports. after a long side bar court was adjourned until this morning. >> i would go through the reports of all my experts and make sure that their opinions were contained in the reports. >> reporter: and while the trial of this young mother accused of killing

points, but for the average americans out of work and struggling to survive, are they tired of this bickeringwant relief? >> so tired, so tired, kyra. so many people are looking for some kind of -- the clouds to lift to have a chance to go back to work and make a decent living and have the value of your house go up, instead of down. so people want action from washington and what we are still hearing is a lot of political rhetoric. it's clear the negotiations haven't yet come any more close to the finish line for some sort of megadeal. the president, yesterday, came out. he was feisty. especially in going after republicans. i did think he made some political points out in the countryside by arguing, look, the republicans, you're refuse -- you raise taxes on billionaires and people who fly corporate jets and oil industries. instead they want to cut benefit is for the middle class. that kind of argument, that populace argue has a lot of appeal but at the same time the president took snide jabs at the republicans about telling them not to go home. those are the kind of sort of small personal insu

have bickered for the last 20 years about who is doing enough.ut right now, it couldn't be more sensitive, because when leon panetta walks into the pentagon to be the next secretary of defense, the day after gates leaves, he still needs nato. he needs the nato commitment in afghanistan. he needs the nato commitment for the operation in libya. so it may be a candid bob gates but candid at a very awkward time. kyra? >> no doubt. barbara starr at the pentagon, barbara, thanks. >> i guess we could only imagine how gates speech went over with the nato council. we have a former commander to tell us what he thinks. so, general, you know, gates is being pretty direct here. he is basically saying, hey, nato, you are not pulling your weight. is that fair? >> it is fair. i think it has been going on ever since the fall of the berlin wall. i think what has to happen is nato is not a club. it is a military alliance. it has commitments. it has obligations. what you have to do is match those requirements or missions with resources. nato has not been doing that.
