marathon yesterday, 115 granite staters completed the 26.2 miles on a warmer than wanted day the the big apple. also run yesterday, the 9th annual manchester city half marathon and relay race, a perfectly cool day for the runners, larry gagnon says the event accomplished their objective which is to deliver a money to local charities. it's a great new hampshire race, but if you are a fan of this event you have to be concerned about diminishing participation. the number of par thon finishers went down from 433 last year to 200 this year. a 54% decline. the half marathon and relay participation has also been declining. 100 of the marathon finishers were from new hampshire, which means more granite staters ran in new york than manchester. gagnon says plans for the next marathon are under way. we need this race to continue. we'll have soccer highlights tonight at 11:00. tom: thank you. we want you to join us tonight at 7:00 for a one hour "chronicle" special labeled illness. our program looks at the ways we are changing the way we look at depression, anxiety and other mental conditions. jennifer: t

snowy in the big apple. we've been through these snowy nt.rs a few times, janice. first snow afall is fun. >> the first snowfall is fun but not the first snowstorm. >> when i moved back to new york i was like yay and then after the second time -- >> you don't have to worry about that today or the rest of the week. talk about falling back, we turned the clocks back and went back in time. temperatures in the 60s and the rest of this week right around 70 degrees. so, here comes the warm up. get ready for it. here's a look outside right now. our view from the top of the rock camera looks pretty spectacular tonight, of course. it's darker earlier now that we're back to standard time. but the temperatures are mild. it's 60 degrees right now under cloudy skies. yeah, it feels more like early se ptember out there versus november. and it will stay this way for the rest of this week with temperatures abut ten degrees above average or maybe even higher than that at times. more sunshine is expected for tuesday, so, bring out the short sleeves if you packed them away already. t
