take a bike indoors and we can find it. take a bike in a truck. we can find it. take a bike into a warehouse, we can defiantly find it. each of the bait bikes have a sticker that says this may be a bait bike but the police have thousands of the stickers made to give to random bicyclists. the idea is that a thief won't be able to tell if the bike is a bait bike or not. police want the thieves to wonder about that and choose not to steal any bike at all. people seem to be attracted to our bikes and people steal bikes looking to put a stop to that. so, we hope this program really puts a dent into how we perceive how easily they can steal a bike in this city. so, the next bike you could be stealing could be one of ours. a man wanted in connection with a tara hills murder. is behind bars tonight. contra costa county law enforcement says, this man-- kyle navarro from el sobrante-- turned himself in this morning. on march 31st, police responded to cornelius drive. where they found nicholas callen, suffering from a gunshot wound. he was pronounced dead at the scene. mich

upgrading the existing facilities, upgrading bike lanes including separated bike lanes. it's also intersection upgrades because sometimes we have a good part of the network. it's bike parking, bike sharing and other programs that are supportive such as education. it's a number of different strategies. again this is just focused on the bike funding where we started 2 years ago on our 5-year cip to adjustment that we made which bumped up the funding where we are now. maybe not as much now as we would love to see. it represents a very significant investment in bike infrastructure in the city. i already showed you this slide. it shows that we are not all the way there in terms of refunding. i think with the task force recommendation it's like 75 percent of the way there. again without that next billion dollars worth of sales tax revenue some of which could help close the gap or other revenue sources that we can identify. again, like with the walk first strategy by focusing on the most critical areas, we think we can get a bigger gain earlier. here are just more visual descri
