. >>> a car slams in to a motorcyclist in san francisco, knocking him off his bike. and he lands on his feet. the whole thing captured on his helmet cam. veronica de la cruz joining us in the news room with the breakdown of exactly what happened. >> the shocking thing is this motorcyclist walked away with only bumps and bruises. here's how it all played out. last wednesday the biker was at ellis and sero. with a green light he drove in to the intersection and a car running a red light slammed in to him. the man was thrown off his bike literally flipping in the air but he managed to land on two feet. he doesn't even fall to the ground. he stands there looking around after the aftermath and walks to the side where everybody comes up to him to ask him if he's okay and you can see that his bike was completely smashed on the other side of the road. he posted the video and this photo to reddit and says his customized daytona bike was completely destroyed. the motorcyclist said his gear is what actually saved him. we plan to bring you his story later on tonight. veronica de
