bill henley is here with the forecast. bill, another shot of snow coming. >> yes. it was a clipper, which like you saw yesterday, didn't bring as much moisture and moved out of here quickly. this morning we have seen a few scattered showers like we showed the video in wilmington a few snowflakes. that was the clipper, fast mover with not a lot of moisture. the storm system that is coming together for us for the weekend is moving through texas with lots of rain and north texas, the panhandle and west texas, they're getting some snow. lots of moisture that is going to be tracking across the deep south, the future rain and snow shows it will stay as rain across mississippi, alabama and georgia. that is late tonight. by tomorrow morning, in the deep south, the panhandle of florida getting lots of rainfall and then here comes up the coast. friday evening, clouds will take over. at 9:00, all that wet weather is to our south. it is moving in to colder air. so as this moves in late friday night, and early saturday morning, it will likely start as snow for most inland areas

bill henley says snow is falling in part of the area. but it's the cold air that's coming that all of us need to get ready for. good morning and welcome to "nbc 10 news today." >> it was a little bit warmer today but that's not going to last. let's begin with meteorologist bill henley in the first alert weather center. >> good morning. right now it is 35 degrees here at nbc 10. that is indeed warmer than yesterday by a big margin. most of the area running 10 to 20 degrees warmer. but it's still cold enough in the pocono mountains for some light snow. we are seeing light snow showers off to the north and west. meantime in delaware and south jersey, it is rain and some light snow. you can see the snow has popped up in eastern cumberland company, moving into atlantic county. mainly rain at the shore and it's going to be gone by this afternoon. so will these milder temperatures, they'll be taking a break later today. right now 34 degrees in the city, 29 for pottstown, upper 20s in allentown and redding and 30 degrees and holding in trenton.
