we'll get right to meteorologist bill henley with the first alert neighborhood forecast. bill? >>> it is a warm start. we're normally in the low 50s this hour. there are cooler neighborhoods, 60s in the suburbs and lehigh valley. it's in those areas that i'm watching for fog. hasn't formed yet. 70 now in new jersey. the skies will be clearing. sunshine will be nice and bright in delaware during the day with just a few scattered clouds. rain is out of the picture. also the winds have shifted behind yesterday's rain. a northerly wind blowing at 6:00 and 9:00. just enough, that's dry air coming in. the temperatures, they'll be warm, in fact, really warm this afternoon. into the 80s for most locations. the humidity will be dropping. we're looking at a pretty nice autumn day today that will feel like summer. 84 in new jersey. at the shore, 78 degrees. i'll break it down hour by hour, show you how quickly the temperatures will warm up for each part of our area when i'm back in less than ten minutes. first, jessica boyington has your first alert traffic. >>> thanks. starting on the sc

meteorologist bill henley is here with your first alert neighborhood weather. good morning, bill. >> eventually we'll get the autumn weather back, but not today. it's not happening this morning. we're getting a warm start. nice clear view. you can see the lights shimmering off the skukyl this morning. 60s start with lehigh valley even into jersey, low 60s, 64 west bradford township. no chilly weather you would typically have this time of year. just dropped to 59 in bedford and millford township at 59. but just about everybody else is hanging in the 60s this morning. and we will warm into the 80s this afternoon. radar showing a few sprinkles. i think that's not even reaching the ground. it's unlikely we'll see rain today, but look what's to the west. this is a cold front that's coming together. we've been watching this for a couple days now. that is going to give us some showers for tomorrow. not an all-day rainfall but that system moves to the east and there's chance of showers in the morning and in the afternoon and tomorrow night. again, not all day rainfall.
