let's get another check of the weather with bill karins. >> we found out that cindy had weakened to 40 miles per hour. it's barely a tropical storm. uneventful landfall over the last hour or two right along the texas-louisiana border. the only concern is how much rain are we going to still get from the storm and are we going to have flash flooding? yesterday we had some, but it wasn't historic. very isolated. the storm path will bring us more rain. we have feeder bands to mississippi, alabama. this is an area in the flood watch. that's for the heavy rain as the storm moves to the north, and even memphis is under a flash flood watch. here's our rainfall forecast. when you get up to the red, that's four to five inches. that's enough to cause flash flooding, and this is going to be during the day today. northern louisiana, right along the texas-louisiana border. then from areas of memphis right through northern tennessee and the nashville area too. even far from the center, even though it's a weak system. it's still bringing the threat of heavy rainfall. this will even go through the day

meteorologist bill karins brings us those details this morning and who is at threat the most, bill. >> that was amazing. that barn had no chance whatsoever. it wasn't moving that quickly either, frances. wyoming you don't think of tornadoes, but that was the case yesterday. 30 tornadoes reported from wyoming, nebraska, south dakota. for today with our spring storm we still have an area of enhanced risk from fargo all the way towards omaha, sioux falls and sioux city included. large hail up to two inches and there will be a chance of tornadoes, especially sioux falls to fargo. that's the bullseye with the weekend. in the pacific northwest, just the opposite. temperatures are cool, still clouds lingering in the 60s. here is one of my favorites, alan robaire, nicknamed spiderman climbed a building in spain. he did it with no safety ropes, only took 20 minutes to scale the 480-foot building. putting the thick chalk on his hands, this is not his first time for the climb. robaire has made it for landmarks around the world including the golden gate bridge and the eiffel tower. imagine that,

bill karins is monitoring the situation right now and focusing on the direct threat, which is, what bill? >> it still looks to be the same. we had one big one yesterday that flared up, the goodwin fire in prescott, arizona. the high pressure continues to dominate over the southwest. you don't expect wet weather this time of year. all you hope for is added humidity possibly. and currently we have 23 large fires burning throughout the region. as i mentioned, there's little if any hope for wet weather. coastal areas are on the seasonable, cool side. here's a closer look at your resting. a demolition crew in eastern china found an explosive way to dealing with flooding. whoa. underwater discharge. they blew up this dam to help discharge some of the water the excess water was wearing away at the support structures of a nearby railway bridge. they said they wanted to allow the fastest path to let the water get through before more damage to the railway bridge. >> so much for the dam. let's take care of that bridge and mack sure it's okay. >> plenty more ahead. the heated off-the-court match and
