bill karins, thank you very much. are at the brunt of this and how are people preparing? >> preparations look like things we have and haven't seen before. we are in evacuation zone a and of course, we have some time yet until milton makes landfall wherever it makes landfall. further down, this is where we saw a lot of flooding with hurricane helene just over a week ago. so we're seeing the things we normally expect with hurricane preparations. of course, sandbagging. we talked about the evacuation orders and the evacuation zones, but something that i think is unique here. remember, the timeliness of all of this. it was just over a week ago that hurricane helene wreaked havoc and it didn't make a direct hit here and it was 100 miles off of the shore and in this entire region they felt the impacts of it and even from that far away and the flooding wreaked havoc on communities that are so vulnerable, jose. so that's one important thing to remember and people are taking this more seriously because they saw what helene did
