bill in huntingtown reporting a little snow, not sticking much. there it s the heavier band north of lonual beach to south of mechanicsville to st. leonard. i think you'll see that for another hour to two hours tops. where it's snowing heavily, we have temperatures which are down in the low 30s with bill in newland saying he got 3 inches of snow to north and west sun is coming out. charleston, 37 degrees now. 34 in leesburg. 39 fort belvoir. up in columbia 36. crofton 39. so a chilly day. as we look outside, we still have generally cloudy skies on our michael & son weather camera with a temperature of 40. windchill is 33 right now with the north, northwest winds at 13. here's our clipper quickly moving through. some snow showers in the mountains now of west virginia, eastern kentucky. but as this slides away from us, we'll see a little bit of sun in a couple of spots but also the threat this afternoon for not much more than a passing flurry or snow shower and maybe even a couple of rain showers well south of town. but we've got the cold air in place, just cold enough for the snow. by 6:00 tonight, the storms off shore. a couple of flurries
