bill mcdermott from servicenow thank you. >> thank you, john thank you, carl. >> glad to see you, bill let's take a look at the broader market ahead of this afternoon's speech on the economy from fed chair powell how tech investors are thinking about the fed's next move. >> how fast we are going to get there. interest rates have been a huge driver for the downside moves we have had in technology because interest rates at their higher levels have now pushed valuations down lower and that's played out a lot more over the course of the month and certainly the year with the dow jones industrial up for the month 3%, the outperformer the s&p up 2%, and the nasdaq composite, the tech heavier index flat on the month so far it's positive. but the dow jones industrial on that value trade doing some outperformance now, over the course of the year to date period there is no doubt that technology has been an underperform if you look at the nasdaq 100 and nasdaq composite which shed 30% of value with the dow jones industrial at 7% so the tech heavier side of things wearing things down key industry g
