paul: let's bring in wall street journal columnist kim strawser, bill mcgurn, stacy grady and dan heningerme court is going to play a crus -- a crucial role in the 2024 election. whether the justices want it or not. how much of a risk is this for the credibility of the court and confidence. >> it is dreadful. all the parties that ended up creating this situation, if you are the majority on the colorado court and dealing with unprecedented legal questions this is going to land in other courts's laps and they have to pick up the pieces and whatever they decide given that this is a political situation, half of the country will be unhappy with that. this is very bad for the institution, it can't necessarily be dodged about this is happening because a lot of people have taken unprecedented actions for political reasons and now they risk the court's reputations to clean up their mess. paul: the democrats running this support for the credit ability and legitimacy, here they are turning to the court to say you have to decide these things for us. >> that is indeed but something insidious going on h
